Type 47 or Type 48 On-Sale Liquor License for sale in Sonoma County

This is a full liquor license that can be issued to either bars or restaurants in Sonoma County (see below for further descriptions of the two licenses). Price is $200,000 net to Seller, so the Buyer will be responsible for the broker fee, the escrow fee & the ABC application fees.

1. Type 47: Issued to restaurants. Authorizes the sale of beer, wine, and distilled spirits for consumption on the licensed premises. Authorizes the sale of beer and wine for consumption off the licensed premises. Must operate and maintain the licensed premises as a bonafide eating place. Must maintain suitable kitchen facilities and must make actual and substantial sales of meals for consumption on the premises. Minors are allowed on the premises.

2. Type 48: Issued to bars and night clubs. Authorizes the sale of beer, wine, and distilled spirits for consumption on the premises where sold. Authorizes the sale of beer and wine for consumption off the premises where sold. Minors are not allowed to enter and remain (see BPC § 25663.5 for exception, musicians). Food service is not required. This license type is subject to Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) requirements and requires alcohol servers and managers of alcohol servers to be RBS certified.
